Management Team

President Francesco Giaramita started his career as a mechanical engineer for Con Edison. Always pursuing entrepreneurial ventures, he left Con Edison in 1981 to capitalize on the market opportunity for finishing products in the housing industry. He opened Tilearama in March of 1981 in Queens, New York. After years of success providing tile and bathroom fixtures to several residential clients, he moved into a different market with the intention of serving both homeowners and real estate professionals that operated and owned both commercial and residential buildings. Quarry Tile was established in New York City in 1988 for this purpose and has been operating ever since. Francesco concentrates on developing his client base and servicing his clients' needs. He entrusts the running of operations to his two Vice Presidents.

General Manager/Vice President Jonathan Giaramita started his career as an attorney working for Mendes & Mount, LLP. During his legal career, he worked as an advisor and consultant for Quarry Tile. His strong desire to grow a business, coupled with his interest in real estate development, led him to take on full-time duties at Quarry. In his capacity as General Manager/Vice President, he manages all the components needed to keep the business thriving and implements the necessary strategies to achieve positive performance. He concentrates on working with the entire team to improve the client experience, which includes providing an extensive product offering, professional and timely project execution, and competitive pricing. He also works directly with clients to attend to their project needs.

Operations Manager/Vice President Francesco Giaramita, Jr. established his career in the tile and stone industry at a young age. Through the years, he has learned first-hand the process of manufacturing, fabricating and installing tile and natural stone products. His knowledge of the products we offer and his extensive field experience enables Quarry to offer our clients the best quality and service. In his capacity as Operations Manager/Vice President, he manages and leads our team of technicians. He ensures that the fabrication and warehouse facilities are working to their full capacity. Francesco, Jr. also works directly with clients to attend to their project needs.
